Very Dry
First review of this one.
A pretty dry and woody smoke overall, but with a nice progression. It started with cedar, leather, hazelnut and nutmeg, plus a touch of cocoa and some black pepper on the retrohale. The second third got darker and more roasted, with walnut and dark roast coffee coming through while the cedar and leather stayed in the background. The final third was the driest and darkest, adding burnt cedar and a mineral note. An interesting smoke, just a bit too dry and wood-heavy for my taste.
