Dry / Balanced
Three rings mark the three recorded thirds; the curve between them is monotone, so it can never overshoot the scale.
Probably the best Connecticut-wrapped cigar I’ve had. Honestly, that’s not saying much though cuz I think I’ve only ever had 3 or 4 different blends. Anyway, the first third is creamy cedar with notes of hay through to the second third, where it develops more of a sweeter creamy/butter flavour. The maduro core on this starts to shine through at midpoint, which combined with the Connecticut wrapper creates this slightly sweet, creamy oak flavour even though I didn’t feel like I got much of a “typical” maduro taste coming through. The white pepper notes keep a constant presence throughout the cigar, but changes to a black pepper, almost cayenne note on the final third. The oak is more prominent with a slightly darker/burnt oak feeling to it as in nears the end. This was amazing with a 2-cream, 1-Splenda coffee, adding to the creaminess through the whole cigar. I’m not disappointed at all that I got a 3 pack, this will be a phenomenal coffee smoke. Not so sure about pairing it with bourbon or scotch, however it’s possible it could work for some 🤷🏻♂️ Recommend for people who like lighter wrappers, or want to try something a bit outside of the box
